A federal judge finally said what we’ve all known for years: Donald J. Trump “more likely than not” committed serious federal crimes, calling the events leading up to January 6th an attempted “coup.”
The only word missing from the judge’s ruling: “Treason”
When Donald Trump was elected in 2016, I was a three-star admiral in the U.S. Navy. But it was clear what kind of a man Trump was. I voted with my feet. I retired after 36 years because there was no way I was going to take orders from a guy – a demagogue – like that.
Now I’m home where I was born and raised, running for the U.S. Senate against Trump’s stooge, Chuck Grassley – a guy who first ran for office when I was a toddler.
Every single poll shows we can win: Grassley’s approval ratings are the lowest they’ve ever been among Iowa voters. And the pundits say we must win: Control of the Senate will likely be decided here in Iowa.
