After last weekend's Endorsing Convention, we have a refreshed appreciation of what a special time it is to be a California Democrat! Here's a recap of the main events.

On Saturday, House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff -- who's leading the impeachment inquiry into President Trump -- addressed the Saturday morning General Session with a resounding call to action:

"Your activism is the engine of the Democratic party.
And your vote is going to save our country."

We also heard from many other leaders on some of the key issues for our party in 2020. A big thanks to all of the inspiring speakers who took the podium!

In the afternoon, party members filled the Pacific Ballroom, where eight Democratic presidential hopefuls Cory Booker, Pete Buttigieg, Julian Castro, Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, Bernie Sanders, Tom Steyer, and Andrew Yang assembled for the California Democratic Party/Univision Real America Forum to discuss their vision for the future of this country.

And last, but certainly not least -- we want to give a special thanks to the over 400 volunteers who were the backbone of this convention. It wouldn't have been possible without you!

"The fight to save our democracy will be waged in the streets of our nation. And thats exactly where we'll be in 2020 -- it's where we must be."
