March By-Laws Amendments

This past month we voted on proposed By-Laws amendments regarding our early endorsement procedure and consolidated officer's roles in the organization, which you can review here.
The first amendment, amending Article III of our by-laws to remove certain defined officer positions, passed 10-0. There were three additional sub-amendments, two which passed, that can be viewed on the official meeting notes here.
The second amendment, amending Article VIII to allow for early endorsements, passed 9-0. There were three additional sub-amendments that all passed by acclamation. Those can also be viewed on the official meeting notes here.

KCYD Membership Reminder

If you have not already this year, please renew your membership with the King County Young Democrats. We strongly encourage our members to pay dues as soon as possible. If, for any reason, you are unable to pay the dues, please email Yuan at [email protected] to get your dues waived, no questions asked. Paying dues gives you voting rights as a member and allows KCYD to fund travel expenses for YD events across the state and country.
