The clock is ticking, as we now only have two months before the Primary Elections. That's why we're ramping up our robust and proactive voter outreach efforts to ensure that everyone in the new NY-16 knows about Jamaal and are ready to fight for our progressive values in June.
We need to give our fundraising the boost it needs to continue growing our competitive campaign, even in the face of uncertainties that have the potential to change the face of this election. Now that Jamaal's three challengers have officially consolidated their efforts to support one establishment challenger, we need to do everything we can to protect Jamaal and our progressive efforts.
What's more, the New York State's Supreme Court's recent ruling on the proposed district maps place our campaign in a very uncertain spot in this race. If the court ruling remains upheld, we could be looking at a whole new petition drive, a new map to reconcile with, and potentially a new election date.
But if there's one thing that's certain: there is power in numbers and our progressive movement is growing.
