I want to begin by thanking all of you for fighting alongside us these last few months as we faced the largest threat to reproductive rights Florida has ever seen.
Governor DeSantis is preparing to sign the 15-week abortion ban into law any day now, and Republicans across the state are touting this bill as a huge victory. What they don’t realize is the fight has only just begun.
During this year’s session, our legislative champions spoke up for what the majority of Floridians believe – that no person should be denied their rights and politicians have no place in a person’s private medical decisions. Now, the most important thing we can do is get these champions re-elected and work to elect more women who will stand up for reproductive freedom in Florida.
We’ve already endorsed 43 candidates this cycle, and we still have many more announcements to come.
Your support allows us to recruit, train, and elect Democratic pro-choice women across Florida. Our mission has never been more urgent. The only way we can fight back against the continued assault on reproductive rights is by electing leaders who will speak out and defend them.
