John – these new laws are dangerous and incredibly upsetting, but they're not surprising. This is all going exactly as far-right zealots like Sen. Grassley planned. He's spent his 47 years in Washington doing everything within his power to take away the right to choose.

From his seat on the Judiciary Committee, Sen. Grassley has made packing the court with far-right extremists his No. 1 priority – and there's no limit to how far he'll go to get his way. He blocked President Obama's nominee for 293 days – the longest confirmation delay in HISTORY – then rammed through Brett Kavanaugh's controversial nomination with the narrowest margin in nearly 140 years.

He's helped stack the court with anti-choice zealots, and now they're set to rule on the dangerous abortion bans passed by far-right extremists in states like Oklahoma and Texas. We can still defend the right to choose by codifying Roe v. Wade into law, but we NEED grassroots Democrats to fight back with us.

Please, in the wake of this terrible legislation, we need to hear from another 59 Democrats before 11:59 p.m. to show a united movement is fighting for the right to choose:
