As committed Democrats, we must all turn our attention to critical elections everywhere — not just in our own backyard — that have the potential to create a sea wall against the rising tide of radical right-wing politics.

Pennsylvania must be part of that sea wall. If Democrats lose the gubernatorial race, Republicans are all but guaranteed to restrict access to the ballot box, roll back reproductive rights, and much more. As a critical state during presidential elections, it’s particularly important that GOP legislators aren’t allowed to enact restrictive laws that would give their party a leg up.

Josh Shapiro will always fight to defend our shared values and will veto radical laws that are wrong for Pennsylvanians. I’m proud to support his candidacy, but he needs you on his side as well.
