Yesterday, the House overwhelmingly passed my resolution expressing unequivocal support for NATO and urging President Biden to continue strengthening our commitment to defending democracy from the growing waves of international authoritarianism and illiberalism. 

But 63 right-wing extremist Republicans - including Lauren Boebert, Madison Cawthorn, Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor-Greene, and Jim Jordan - decided to side with fascists and vote against it.

I guess we must be doing something right to have such terrible company voting against my resolution! 

As President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, I know first hand what our European allies need to not only repel the Russian forces invading Ukraine, but to defeat the internal and external forces trying to push anti-democratic illiberalism on the free world. That is exactly why I have been pushing for the creation of a "Center for Democratic Resilience" at NATO headquarters, so we can each fulfill our commitment to defending each other and our democratic principles not only in times of war, but every day of every year. 

If these Republicans won't stand up for NATO and continue pushing Kremlin propaganda, just imagine what they will do if they take the House in 2022. We cannot allow that to happen - and we need your help to keep our majority this November. Contribute today:
