Iowa Republicans’ plan to drain public school resources

Rush a $20.22 donation to help us fight back!

In case you haven’t heard, friend, Iowa Republicans are trying to defund our public schools… again.

Their bill drains money from our public schools to give funding to unaccountable private schools run by out-of-state corporations.

This bill will not only be another devastating blow to our already struggling rural schools – 81 school districts across the state won’t see a single penny – but it will also only help a tiny fraction of Iowa kids at their peers' expense.

We need leaders at the statehouse who will fight to fund our public schools and make sure every child in Iowa gets a world-class education. We’re in prime campaign launch season – can we count on you to rush a donation of $20.22 right now to help Democratic candidates make a strong start?

RUSH A DONATION

Iowa’s strong public schools were once the pride and joy of our state. In less than five years, Iowa Republicans have tarnished that value and sold out our students so they can continue to line their pockets with corporate donations.

Iowa’s kids deserve the strongest start they can get, no matter their ZIP code or their family’s income. Investing in public education is one of the best ways we can ensure our children have the tools to follow their dreams.

Just like our students, our candidates benefit from a strong start, friend. Help out with an early donation of $10 – or whatever you can spare – so we can rebuild our state’s foundation in education.

Thanks for all of your support!
