Fulfillment Fund is pleased to resume in-person events for our students and supporters. Last month, we came together at the LA BIG 5K with members of our Young Professionals Board and volunteers who we had not seen for almost two years. Later this month, we will host Decision Day at the RFK Community Schools, and on May 5th, at Sip & Celebrate we will honor the Gitnick Family for their years of service and commitment to Fulfillment Fund.
As we get closer to our students' milestones, we must ensure they enjoy the moment and acknowledge their accomplishments as a community. Our College Access team is helping 12th graders with their college selection, determining housing options, finalizing financial aid, and submitting their intent to enroll. We also launched our second annual Career Speaker Series to get students — even 9th and 10th graders — thinking about their careers and the possibilities that await them.
Our College Success team is preparing to announce next year's incoming scholarship recipients that will enter the program as they begin their college journey. We have also been successful in growing our internship program and our students have secured opportunities in amazing companies, which will help them build their resumes and gain skills to be better equipped to enter the workforce.
Strengthening the Fulfilment Fund community helps us build stronger foundations for our students and their futures. And, you are an important part of that. We are thrilled to be hosting in-person events after such a long break, and we hope to see you soon!
