Critical Resistance (CR) is pleased to share our 2021 Annual Report, a roundup of the work we did last year with movement partners, volunteer members, and community. It includes campaign and project highlights, links to grassroots media, new toolkits, and more!
Prison industrial complex (PIC) abolition is a communal effort, and we made these materials to bolster efforts for collective liberation. We hope you take a moment to peek at our 2021 Annual Report on our website here, as we offer these tools, lessons, and organizing resources for you to use with your networks and communities. You helped make it and all the material inside possible!
Thank you for supporting CR and showing that abolition is essential!
As we continue into 2022, we are forging ahead to close prisons in California, to chip away at systems of immigration criminalization in New York and New Jersey, to shift resources out of policing, and to continue to build organizing connections with imprisoned people inside prisons, jails, and detention centers coast to coast. Please continue alongside us in this journey!
Your generosity and support enable CR to keep advancing abolition as a practical and irresistible strategy. Thank you!
In solidarity,
Jess Heaney, Shirley Leslie, and Nick DeRenzi
