[1]Mandela Barnes for Wisconsin

Growing up, Mandela learned to never settle for what is, but to reach for what can be.

He grew up in Milwaukee, where his mom was a public school teacher.

And his dad worked 3rd shift at the General Motors plant.

Mandela went on to graduate high school and start college at the age of 16, when he enrolled in Alabama A&M University.

When he was 25, Mandela was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly, where he became a champion on issues like the environment, economy, education, racial justice, and health care.

Then in 2018, he ran for Lieutenant Governor in Wisconsin on the ticket with Governor Tony Evers. After winning that race, Mandela became the first African American Lt. Governor in the state's history, and only the second African American to be elected statewide.

Now Mandela is running for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin, where we have a huge opportunity to flip a Senate seat for Democrats and defeat Ron Johnson.

He's depending on this grassroots movement in order to make that possible.

Wisconsin is going to be one of the most competitive Senate races in the country, and the outcome of this race will decide whether Democrats defend the Senate majority.

So please:

Can you make a contribution to elect Mandela Barnes to the U.S. Senate? It will only happen if we're in this together.
