Hey team, Jenna here. You know that I love some good post-debate fundraising stats, and that’s why I had to reach out today about the hours since the debate, otherwise known as our biggest online fundraising day of the entire campaign. Here are a few of my favorites:
-
More people donated to our campaign for the first time after the debate last night than did on the day we launched this campaign -- and by more people I mean almost double.
-
We raised more in the first 22 minutes of the 11 p.m. hour than we did in the 12 hours following the third and fourth debates COMBINED.
-
We had our best online fundraising HOUR of the campaign, where we raised more than our previous best online fundraising DAY of the campaign.
But my favorite stat from last night?
We’ve officially surpassed 200,000 individual donors -- one of the DNC December debate thresholds!
Please help us keep this momentum going. Cory hasn’t qualified for the December debate yet because he needs 4% in four polls, and we need to capitalize on this moment to get him there.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
It’s critical that we make the December debate -- it’s why we’re launching ads in the early states to introduce more folks to Cory to get the polling numbers we need.
But all this requires a lot of resources, and a killer debate performance won’t seal the deal on its own. We all need to step up to keep Cory’s voice on the debate stage.
If you’re ready to stand with Cory, please chip in to our campaign. Every dollar gets us closer to the December debate stage.
As the boss said last night, “it’s time we fight, and fight together.”
