**Read to the bottom for a special
opportunity to volunteer
with Cheri Beasley's campaign for Senate!**
Friend --
On Sunday afternoon, April 3,
members of the People’s Alliance PAC met to debate and decide which
candidates running in 2022 would get the group’s endorsement. Over 350
members attended the meeting, held on Zoom. Following hours of debate
and voting, members chose to endorse candidates up and down the
ballot, from US Senate to Durham school board.
Endorsement decisions are made by
the PAC membership at a meeting in advance of elections every year. At
the meeting, PAC committees who have studied the candidates make
recommendations, but ultimately the endorsement is decided by a vote
of the members after rigorous debate.
The PAC’s support of its candidates
only begins with the endorsement. PA PAC campaigns for its candidates
with organizing, events, mailings, social media and poll work. This
work takes money and time. PA PAC encourages you to donate
money and to volunteer
time in support of your PA PAC's slate of candidates.
