When you listen to the news, do you ever just want to throw things? Or, at least, throw in the towel? We get it. We have a lot of friends and neighbors who just can’t take it anymore. They care about the quality of their lives, and they want the best for our country, but they’ve thrown their hands up in despair, and need someone else to take the wheel.

Instead of fighting for fair and affordable health care, instead of making sure every child has enough to eat, that everyone is safely housed; instead of delving into the real problems and challenges that keep equity off of the lips of reality, it seems all we do fight about whether someone should kneel or stand, what reading material should be accessible, what defines someone’s gender, whether or not someone should be forced into parenthood, whether or not Black Lives Matter, or whether or not history is just too darn hard to learn about.

We have to put our hearts and minds together and help support candidates and policies that get us past fighting over our personal opinions and get us to a place of lasting change.

We refuse to keep arguing over the things that the former president wants us to argue about. Instead, we are about getting down to business.

PowerPAC is committed to making sure that the leaders we support solve problems not cause them.
