San Francisco is currently working on its housing element—its housing plan for the next eight years. We have a housing production target of 82,000 new homes. How will we do it? Come to a webinar today, Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 6–7 PM PDT to find out what the Planning Department is proposing. We'll explain what's going on and how you can give input.

This webinar event will consist of a presentation, followed by Q&A.

Give your public comment at the Planning Commission this week to ensure that San Francisco can make its housing goals!

Thursday, April 7, after 1:00 PM

SF YIMBY is proud to co-sponsor the The “Affordable Homes Now” measure! This would change City laws to expedite approval of three types of affordable housing. In order for the measure to make it to the ballot, we must collect signatures from registered voters in San Francisco. Join us for the kickoff event. Training will be provided and no experience is needed to help!

Saturday, April 9, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

East Side of the Panhandle (approx: 1400 Fell Street)

Watch our forum about the June ballot's Proposition A (transportation bond) and Proposition B (restructuring the Department of Building Inspection)! Hear straight from the campaign proponents on what the measure is and why it is important.

SF YIMBY members will be discussing on the YIMBY Action Slack how we should endorse on these measures. If you are a member, join us! If you are not yet a member, become one today!
