The United States has reportedly offered to help President Zelensky evacuate from Ukraine. He's declined, telling officials: "I need ammunition, not a ride."

But it’s not just President Zelensky. Across the entire country, everyday Ukrainians are standing up to fight against Russia’s unjustified and unprovoked aggression in whatever way they can. Even outsiders are coming to their aid.

Can you imagine Donald Trump – or almost any of his sycophants – doing anything remotely similar? They waged war on democracy and stretched the bounds of decency for four years. And they are still at it.

My opponent Chuck Grassley can’t even muster the courage to stand up to ‘President Bone Spurs.’ I doubt he’d be out there stopping Russian tanks.

When I defeat Chuck Grassley and turn Iowa blue this November, I will be the most senior military person ever-elected to the United States Senate. You can be sure I will defend our democracy against its enemies… both foreign and domestic. The defense of our democracy is my job #1.

The polls show we can win. Chuck Grassley’s approval rating is the lowest it’s ever been. But McConnell is raising millions into Super PACs to attack me and try to turn the Senate red. The only way to fight back is with help from grassroots donors like you.

We need to raise another $50,000 before our deadline at midnight, and right now we’re still falling short. I’m not taking a dime from corporate PACs, so I have nowhere else to turn:
