A NOTE FROM CHRISSY

Friend

I’ve dedicated my life to service, and serving as your congresswoman is the honor of my lifetime. Thanks to your support, last month marked a number of milestones, including Team Chrissy officially getting back on the ballot and a brand new campaign office. I’m excited to share what else we were able to accomplish:

INVESTING IN VETERANS

Veterans represent the best of our nation, and they need quality, accessible health care. That’s why I’m proud to announce we passed a bill allotting $97.5 billion to improve mental health treatment for veterans, support and house veterans facing homelessness, and enhance care for women veterans. I also led a bipartisan effort calling on the Department of Veterans Affairs to reconsider their proposal to close the Coatesville VA Medical Center. Click the link below to learn more about the steps we’re taking to support our veterans.

CALLING FOR PROTECTION OF UKRAINIAN CIVILIANS

As Vladimir Putin continues to wage war against Ukraine, it has been deeply heart-wrenching to watch my father's birthplace of Lviv come under attack. I have called on the administration to do more – including providing Ukraine with the aircraft they need to repel Russian attacks. While Putin tries to divide us, we Americans – Democrats and Republicans – need to act in unity. This is indeed personal for me, but I’m hopeful that this is personal for all of us because, ultimately, it’s about defending the freedoms and values we all hold so dearly.

BOLSTERING PA-06 COMMUNITIES

The people of Chester and Berks counties mean so much to me. That’s why I’m thrilled to say that we’ve secured life-changing federal funds to benefit the residents of our great community. From realigning roadways and intersections to installing new electric vehicle charging stations, you can expect a lot of much-needed improvements around PA-06. And that’s not all. Thanks to the American Rescue Plan, our district's local colleges and HBCUs will receive critical funds to provide students the education they need to join the workforce and prepare for the modern economy.

That’s our April newsletter. To say we’ve been busy is an understatement.

Our achievements wouldn’t be possible without your support, so thank you for all that you do.

I’m always eager to hear from my constituents, so please don’t hesitate to reach out. And stay tuned for our May newsletter!

There is work to be done.

– Chrissy

We wouldn't ask if it weren’t important, but with the GOP self-funding their way to victory in 2022, Chrissy needs all hands on deck so she can continue to spread her positive message of progress for working families. So, we’re asking:

With so much on the line, will you take a moment to chip in $5, or whatever you can, to help Chrissy defend her seat and expand our House majority?
