Folks, this legislation is groundbreaking: I’m proud to support the Affordable Insulin Now Act to cap out-of-pocket costs of insulin at no more than $35 per month .

Insulin is a lifesaving drug, not a luxury .

And if you or any of your loved ones are among the 37 million Americans who depend on insulin – you know firsthand how dangerous it is to have to go without.

But with the price of insulin skyrocketing, too many have had to make the difficult decision between vital medical care and putting food on the table.

We have to act quickly so one else is put at risk of not being able to afford life-saving medication: It’s now up to the Senate to pass the Affordable Insulin Now Act and keep life-saving medication affordable for everyone – Will you sign on and tell them it’s time to act? [[link removed]]

On average, Americans pay more than 10 times more for insulin than other developed nations.

Many have resorted to rationing their insulin supply or even skipping doses, putting their health and lives at risk in order to afford both medication and food.

No one in this country should have to choose between their insulin and taking care of their families. Passing the Affordable Insulin Now Act would be a lifeline for families across the country, but we need the Senate to act.

Lives are at stake. Tell the Senate to pass the Affordable Insulin Now Act before anyone else has to skip a dose. [[link removed]]
