Friend,
Tomorrow, pop culture, energy policy, and the climate crisis will collide at an exciting virtual event—and we want you to be there!
Along with the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, we're hosting a Zoom panel with Senator Elizabeth Warren and the writers of the hit film "Don't Look Up." Will you RSVP now to join us, Senator Warren, and recent Academy Award nominees Adam McKay and David Sirota tomorrow, Wednesday 4/6 at 3:30 p.m. ET / 12:30 p.m. PT?

When "Don't Look Up" premiered last December, it spurred a national conversation and begged the question: How do we turn climate awareness into substantive climate action from our leaders?
Well, that's exactly what we're discussing at tomorrow's virtual event—and as a dedicated member of our climate advocacy community, we'd love to see you there! (You'll be in good company—Evergreen Executive Director Jamal Raad will be there to ask a question and participate!)
The event is part of a joint campaign led by the PCCC, Evergreen Action, and nearly 100 organizations calling on Democratic leaders to advance a clear, popular, on-offense message on this topic:
"Russia's invasion of Ukraine reaffirms that America must lead the world in a clean energy transition. Our dependence on fossil fuel empowers authoritarians like Vladimir Putin, rogue oil-producing nations, and price-gouging oil companies. For the sake of our national security and planet, we call on America's leaders to take immediate action to invest in domestic clean energy jobs and end our dependence on fossil fuel."
RSVP now to join us tomorrow, Wednesday 4/6 at 3:30 p.m. ET / 12:30 p.m. PT, to discuss turning climate awareness into climate action with Senator Elizabeth Warren and "Don't Look Up" writers Adam McKay and David Sirota!

P.S. Beyond this event, expect to hear a lot more from us connecting the dots on Ukraine, energy security, and how we can stop petro-dictators like Vladimir Putin. It's a critical topic and we'll be sending you a series of emails on what you need to know and how you can take action. Stay tuned!
