Growing up in a union family, I learned that all work has dignity. No ifs, ands, or buts.

I don’t care what your job is—if you’re out there busting your rear end, you should have a little breathing room. You should have time for the things that make life worth living, like Saturday football games and Sunday family dinners.

I’m running for the U.S. Senate to cut workers in on the deal—because if you work hard for your country, your country should work hard for you.

That’s why we launched our Workers First Tour to travel across Ohio, from union halls to factory floors to small-town restaurants, to hear about the challenges workers are facing. That’s why all of our Team Ryan merch is USA-made and union-printed. Heck, ours was the first Senate campaign in Ohio history to unionize.

Now, we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to tilt the balance of power back to working people in this country. But Mitch McConnell and his wealthy friends will do everything they can to stop us from changing the status quo.

My GOP opponents might have billionaire donors behind them, but let’s see them try to take on the steelworkers, teachers, health care techs, and carpenters we have in our corner.
