| Fellow American, People often ask me why I serve in Congress. It’s a tough job in a tough time, so many wonder why I would want to keep going back. The reason is simple. I am determined to fight every single day to protect our freedoms and our American values because I believe I have to do everything I can to ensure they are preserved for my children and yours. I’m a father of four, and I want them to enjoy the same freedom, security, and opportunity that we have had. But sadly, the radical Left’s policies are jeopardizing it all. I want the next generation to still recite the Pledge of Allegiance and understand the sacrifice that brave men and women make to protect that right. I want there to be jobs for our kids when they graduate. I want them to be able to speak their minds, without threats from the cultural Marxists. Fellow American – our values are under attack each and every day. I can’t sit back and watch this happen. And I refuse to. That’s what motivates me to fight in Congress every day.
