Dear John,
I wanted to take a moment to celebrate some incredible women who are in the process of making history today – the women of Human Coalition.
At Human Coalition, approximately 87% of our organization is comprised of women. It’s an honor to serve alongside them and see the way they stand for life. Preborn children have been rescued because of their love and commitment – and families have been restored to stability. The impact of their work will be felt for generations.
Thanks to these women, abortion will one day be unthinkable and unnecessary.
One of the women with whom I have the joy to work is Chelsey Youman, Human Coalition’s National Director of Public Policy.
Chelsey recently received the Yellow Rose of Texas award from Governor Greg Abbott. This award recognizes women who show exceptional service to their communities and is the highest award given specifically to women leaders in Texas.
This honor couldn’t have gone to a more deserving person. Chelsey is a strong and humble leader who brilliantly advocates for the most innocent among us.
She was instrumental in the passage of the Texas Heartbeat Act, which prohibits abortion in the Lone Star State after a preborn child’s heartbeat is detected. This law is monumental because it is the first successful six-week abortion ban since Roe v. Wade was decided almost 50 years ago. Since it went into effect in September, abortions in Texas have fallen by more than half, with over 100 preborn children rescued every single day.
Chelsey has also advocated for women through championing the Every Mother Matters Act (EMMA) and other programs that serve expecting mothers and their families.
Laws around the country have changed – and will continue to change – because of Chelsey. We admire her and are grateful for the way she helps lead the charge toward a post-Roe America.
Today, I invite you to hear from Chelsey herself. www.Humancoalition.com/hope-for-a-post-roe-v-wade-america

In Human Coalition’s latest blog, she talks about the huge advances the pro-life movement has made – particularly in Texas – and what the landscape of the country may look like if Roe is overturned. Most notably, she shares why she looks to the future for life in America with hope.
I know you’ll be inspired by Chelsey – just as I am.
Thank you for your commitment to protecting preborn children and their families. God bless you!
