Donate now to win free tickets to Muni Diaries, back live for the first time in two years!!

After almost exactly two years of pandemic-induced hiatus, Muni Diaries Live is back at Rickshaw Stop! And we are giving away FREE TICKETS TO THE FIRST SIX PEOPLE WHO DONATE, STARTING NOW UNTIL 5PM! We will post on Twitter when all tickets have been claimed.

As Muni Diaries writes, "Muni has always been a litmus test for what’s happening more broadly in San Francisco. But people are still moving and shaking around this most dynamic town, and we’re here to celebrate that!"

Don't miss out on the chance to laugh with friends and talk transit, two of our favorite things!

Volunteer with SFTR at Sunday Streets on April 10!

You don't want to miss out on this afternoon of fun for the whole family! On April 10th, 2022, Sunday Streets SF will open up the streets of Tenderloin! Taking place on Larkin St, Golden Gate Ave and Ellis St, neighbors and visitors alike will have over a mile of car-free streets to enjoy. Sunday Streets are great times to reach riders and non-riders, and engage in wide-ranging discussions about public transit in San Francisco. Come join us to talk to riders about their experience riding transit and learn about San Francisco Transit Riders and our work. And we hope you'll use this opportunity to consider becoming a member yourself!

April is Membership Month! Listen to Vinita Goyal, our Executive Director, share why being an SFTR member matters!

This month, SFTR staff and Board Members are sharing what being a member of San Francisco Transit Riders means to them and their communities. Click below to watch a video by our Executive Director, Vinita Goyal, share her thoughts while attending the opening of the Van Ness Bus Rapid Transit line! And consider donating in April in honor of Membership Month!

And we hope you'll become a member and then share your story about why it matters to you!

The best way to reach new members and grow our movement is by asking members like you to share your story with your community!

Tell your friends or tweet out to your audience about how important it is for a city like San Francisco to have excellent, easy-to-use public transit. Let them know the only way to make a difference is to organize and advocate for it – we’ve proven that with all we’ve achieved so far.
