Americans should not be paying a premium just so energy corporations can make two billion dollars in profit.
Folks, we need to talk about the oil companies.
While hard-working Americans are getting sticker shock when they fill up their cars, at an average of $4.25 per gallon of gas, the oil companies are raking in the profits. In fact, most energy companies will make billions more this year than they did in 2021.
It’s clear to me that we need to start holding these companies accountable. Americans should not be paying a premium just so energy corporations can make record profits and CEOs can have record compensation
