If your representative isn’t fighting to lower gas prices right now, I’d recommend you check their financial records and see if they’re scared to lose their Big Oil donors.

I’m proud to not take a cent from Big Oil PACs and that means I can say the following:

Big Oil companies are price gouging our families.

The cost of oil is actually going down right now, but oil executives see the conflict in Ukraine as an opportune time to get rich and increase the prices of gas at the pump. It’s disgusting.

In tandem with holding these executives accountable (more on that coming soon), I also know we have to get our families help to tackle these crazy prices. So, last week I introduced a new bill, the Putting Gas Money Back In Your Pocket Act, which will send $500 to every taxpayer in America to help cover the cost of these higher prices.
