This week we are participating in AIDSWatch 2022. Each year, AIDSWatch brings together hundreds of people living with HIV and our allies in Washington, D.C., to learn about the latest policy issues, messaging strategies, and advocacy tactics.
At Equality Federation, our HIV Advocacy Program includes supporting our members across the nation to be part of game-changing policy developments that make ending the HIV epidemic possible. Our HIV programming centers state organizations leading the work locally and nationally in HIV decriminalization legislation, safe, accessible, and affordable health care for people living with HIV/AIDS, enhancing PrEP/PEP access, and so much more.
We are inspired by organizations like TENT, Equality Ohio, FreeState Justice, Garden State Equality, PROMO, and Freedom Oklahoma for being meaningfully involved in Ending the HIV Epidemic jurisdictions in their states while prioritizing HIV-related policy progress during legislative sessions.
