John – with global temperatures already rising at an alarmingly dangerous rate, the Paris Climate Agreement was created to help keep the temperature increase to a reasonable, sustainable level.

Emissions reductions and other key benchmarks were agreed upon by nearly 200 countries. But now, the United States is getting ready to ditch the agreement for good. This is a grave miscalculation at a time when we need action on climate more urgently than ever before.
