Food. Water. Shelter. These are some of the emergency needs facing desperate refugees from the war in Ukraine.

But they aren’t their only essential needs. A large number of refugees are women and adolescent girls. We must also care for their sexual and reproductive health, and we urgently need your help to provide for their everyday needs.

I’m currently coordinating with partners and our Member Associations on the ground in Hungary, Moldova, and Poland to provide essential life-saving care and supplies for those who have fled the war. We have launched this emergency campaign to raise funds quickly. Won’t you please contribute?

Even in a war zone, women are pregnant and babies are born. Girls and women need supplies and information to care for their bodies and to be protected from gender-based violence.

Your emergency gift will help provide hygiene kits, menstruation products, life-saving reproductive health services and other essential items to meet their vital needs.

Health must always be protected—even in desperate times like these. Please give now to support IPPF’s critical outreach to refugees fleeing Ukraine >> [link removed]

Thank you for helping people during their time of utmost need.

In solidarity,

Julia Taft

P.S. In addition to giving, you can also help by spreading the word on Twitter ( [link removed] ), via WhatsApp ( [link removed] ), and other social media. Most news media aren’t talking about sexual and reproductive health, so the more we can get the word out and raise funds now, the better equipped we are to provide the care they need.
