** Regularisation Scheme for Undocumented People

Submissions for the regularisation scheme for undocumented people living in Ireland are open. We urge the youth work sector to play an important role in this by linking young undocumented people and their families to the support that MRCI have in place.

On Saturday May 7th, Youth Work Ireland's first young people's Workshop will take place in Dublin. This event is being led by their Youth Participation Panel and is for young people aged 13–19 who are interested in having their voices heard about issues important to them.

Over 200 young people from across Ireland tackled a wide range of issues under the overarching theme of equality at Dáil na nÓg 2022 which took place on Saturday March 26th. This year marked the 20th anniversary of the biennial event which platforms the voices of young people on the issues which matter most to them.

** Quality Standards for Youth Volunteering

Volunteer Ireland are inviting organisations in Ireland, who are involved in the coordination or management of youth volunteering programmes and/or activities to participate in this award. Their jury will assess applications for the award using the recently defined European Quality Standards in Youth Volunteering and the winner will be invited to attend an award ceremony in Brussels, Belgium in June 2022.
