Calling all voters!
Today, Tuesday, April 5th is Election Day for many communities around Oklahoma. Local races include mayor, city council, school board members and more. While these races may seem small compared to the state races getting so much attention, the local issues affect Oklahomans everyday. Due to the small voter base, these local races have the potential to truly coalesce communities together in support of their town's future. On average, only 15% of registered voters turn out for their local elections - and don't forget about the propositions, too. We have to clean up extremism from the School Boards on up.
