Hey all,

It’s the post-debate email you’ve been waiting for, and what a night. The candidates were fired up, the moderators were fired up, and the crowd was -- you guessed it -- fired up.

It was easy to read the room: everyone is ready to defeat Donald Trump and elect a real leader to the White House. But we can’t expect to strengthen our democracy and make a meaningful change unless we protect the House majority and flip the Senate blue, too.

That’s why we’re working to elect Black leaders up and down the ballot in 2020 -- and that includes the next Black president! Are you with us? If so, let’s give Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell a run for their money -- rush support to The Collective today.

When Senator Kamala Harris said, “We have to bring justice back to America for all people, and not just for some...” -- we felt that.

And Senator Cory Booker brought down the house when he finally pointed out the very large elephant in the room: “I wanted to return back to this issue of black voters. I have a lifetime of experience with black voters; I've been one since I was 18.”

They’re both exactly right. We need Black leaders like Harris and Booker to bring some real representation back to the White House.

Politics isn’t a spectator sport. We’re committing ourselves to this fight and not just watching the debates -- but rushing support to as many Black candidates as possible to strengthen our communities and our democracy.

Let’s show Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell how ready we are to win in 2020. Rush support today.
