Promoting #ANewEra

The Israel Relations Normalization Act

In March, Congress signed the largest-ever funding bill for Israel's security, which includes many key pro-Israel provisions.

Critically, the bill includes the Israel Relations Normalization Act, which cements Congress’ support for the historic Abraham Accords.

Background: In 2020, Israel signed groundbreaking peace and normalization agreements, the Abraham Accords, with the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan, brokered by the United States. The Accords have ushered in a new era of peace and cooperation in the Middle East.

The big picture: This achievement would not have happened without strong relationships with pro-Israel members of Congress from across the political spectrum.

With your help, AIPAC will continue to work with Congress to strengthen and expand the new partnerships between Israel and its neighbors, for the benefit of Israel, the United States and the region.

The mission of AIPAC is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel.
