National Influenza Vaccination Week is Coming Up
National Influenza Vaccination Week (NIVW) is Dec. 1-7. It’s our nation’s final push to get more Americans vaccinated against flu. This year the daily topics focus on high-risk groups. Monday (Dec 2) of NIVW will focus on children under 5. Wednesday (Dec 4) will focus on people with chronic health conditions.
  • NASN Resources: The Keep Flu Out of School Toolkit was created by a partnership with NASN, the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases and Families Fighting Flu. It is available for school nurses, teachers, and healthcare professionals for use in kindergarten through grade 5.
