Tomorrow, April 5, is Election Day!
The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

John,

Tomorrow is Election Day. A brighter, cleaner, more equitable Wisconsin is only possible if we vote.

This election matters. Today, the fight for our environment and democracy is happening in city councils, county boards, and school boards. Wisconsin Conservation Voters has invested in local races and put all our energy toward supporting candidates who will make our communities safer and healthier. Check our endorsements here. But, we can only make a difference and elect these candidates by turning out and voting.

Make sure you have the voting information you need:

First, check to see if you’re registered to vote here [[link removed]]. If you’re not registered, you can register in-person when you vote. Just make sure you have a proof of residence document for your registration and a valid photo ID to vote.

Know what’s on your ballot. You can find a sample ballot on MyVote here [[link removed]].

If you haven’t yet returned your absentee ballot, you should plan to drop it off in person or vote in-person at your polling location [[link removed]]. If you would like to drop off your absentee ballot in-person, you should contact your clerk to find out where you can return your absentee ballot. If you would like to vote in-person, you don’t need to bring your absentee ballot, but if you do, the poll workers at your polling location can dispose of it for you. Contact your clerk if you have more questions.

When voting in-person tomorrow on Election Day, Tuesday, April 5, make sure you bring a valid photo ID and know where your polling place is (your polling location may have changed this year) [[link removed]]. All polling locations are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Spring elections can be decided by a handful of votes – especially at the local level. Exercise your right to vote at the polls tomorrow and spread the word to your friends and family!

Tomorrow, we have an opportunity to make a difference in our communities. Let’s make it count.

Thanks for being a conservation voter,
Kerry Schumann
