The week of November 4, 350 Milwaukee delivered letters to:
Chase - Jamie Dimon(CEO), 6 board members, Dave Beres (Executive Director, MKE)
Wells Fargo - Charles Scharf(CEO), 8 board members, Tony Nguyen(WI Region President)
The letters included three requests:
1. Stop all funding of the fossil fuel industry and fossil fuel pipelines.
2. Divest from any bank investments in the fossil fuel industry.
3. Support, fund and invest in safe, clean, renewable alternative energy development such as solar, wind, geothermal and storage batteries.
* Nov. 18, 2019 - An assistent at Chase Bank NY, called to say the letters arrived and were being forwarded to Jamie Dimon and the board members.
* Nov. 8, 2019 - 350 Milwaukee members delivered letters to the front desks of Chase (Dave Beres, Executive Director, MKE) and Wells Fargo (Tony Nguyen, WI Region President) banks in Milwaukee.
