Here’s where things stand:

Last week, the House passed the MORE Act, a bill to legalize cannabis at the federal level, expunge prior marijuana convictions, and conduct resentencing hearings for those completing their sentences.

Now, the bill heads to the Senate where 60 votes are required to send it to President Biden’s desk. This is a popular, bipartisan issue that has a fighting chance at passing — but only if we demonstrate just how much support exists for cannabis legalization.

Barbara’s been an outspoken leader in legalizing and decriminalizing marijuana in addition to promoting equity in the flourishing marijuana industry as co-Chair of the Congressional Cannabis Caucus.

But it’ll take more than just her to convince the Senate to take action to address our nation’s outdated marijuana policies with popular, equitable reform. Can she count on you to speak out with her?
