Hi John,
April is National Volunteer Month, so naturally, I'm here to hype up our amazing Run for Something volunteers. 💪💪💪
Every day, volunteers bring their A-game making calls to potential candidates to start them on their journey to running for office. They know about the importance of building the sustainable power that comes out of supporting candidates and issues at the state and local levels -- and they use their free time to make that happen. And that's really it!
If this sounds like you, sign up and join the volunteer squad! All you need is some free time and a desire to elect diverse young progressives -- we'll help with everything else.
Run for Something's goal this year is to recruit over 25,000 new potential candidates. (Would you believe we’re nearly there already??!) Every single one of them needs that first call -- and that could be from you.
You could meet the next State Delegate Danica Roem, Mayor Justin Bibb, or County Judge Lina Hidalgo!
Volunteering with Run for Something is fun, rewarding, and helps save our democracy. YOU could be among the grassroots ranks helping to build sustainable power among even more diverse young progressives. (And you can do this all from the comfort of your own home).
John, there are so many potential diverse young progressives out there who want to make bold changes. It's National Volunteer Month, so if you've got some spare time, sign up to volunteer to help them go from curious community member to elected leader.
Let's go,
