Thank you to everyone who ran this year - unfortunately there are limited positions even with the high number of talented, qualified individuals. Your leadership and dedication is still crucial to help AYD be successful!

An extra thank you to our out-going 2019 board, and all of those that helped with the election process last night. The new board will be sworn in at our Holiday Brunch on December 14th-- please join us by purchasing a ticket here ([link removed]) , and check out the Facebook page ([link removed]) for more information.

Additionally, at AYD’s annual holiday brunch we will present the following awards:

Appointed Positions

Interested in running for an appointed position? The available appointed positions are listed below with a brief description!

To be considered for an appointed position, please write a short statement describing why you're interested and what you think you would bring to the role this year and submit using the following link: [link removed]

Please submit your candidate statements by 11:59pm Sunday, November 24th.

Finance Director-
* Oversees planning and implementation of all fundraising activities; and
* Shall exercise such other powers and duties as may be assigned to the office of Finance Director by other provisions of the Constitution, under the Bylaws, and as delegated by the President.

Publicity Director –
* Coordinates the dissemination of information regarding AYD; and
* Shall exercise such other powers and duties as may be assigned to the office of Publicity Director by other provisions of the Constitution, under the Bylaws, and as delegated by the President.

Programming Director –
* Facilitates and coordinates logistics for the monthly meetings of AYD; and
* Shall exercise such other powers and duties as may be assigned to the office of Programming Director by other provisions of the Constitution, under the Bylaws, and as delegated by the President or Vice President.

Digital Director –
* Oversees the construction, editing, and regular updating of the website of AYD;
* Manages AYD’s presence in, and marketing through, electronic media; and
* Shall exercise such other powers and duties as may be assigned to the office of Digital Director by other provisions of the Constitution, under the Bylaws, and as delegated by the President or Vice President.

Recruitment Director –
* Coordinates the execution of membership drives and recruitment;
* Collects membership forms and dues in accordance with Article III, Section 2; and
* Shall exercise such other powers and duties as may be assigned to the office of Recruitment Director by other provisions of the Constitution, under the Bylaws, and as delegated by the President.

Retention Director –
* Coordinates activities related to the retention and renewal of members;
* Maintains the official membership list; and
* Shall exercise such other powers and duties as may be assigned to the office of Recruitment Director by other provisions of the Constitution, under the Bylaws, and as delegated by the President.
