CPAC we started an activism campaign ( [link removed] ) and sent letters urging Arizona to pass strong election reform ( [link removed] ). This week, Gov. Doug Ducey followed through by signing into law one of our top priorities Rep. Jake Hoffman’s HB 2492 ( [link removed] ) , which is the strongest protection against illegal immigrant voting in the country.
Additionally, CPAC has been working hard to advance the #SaveWomensSports act to protect opportunities for female athletes of all ages. Conservatives enjoyed two more victories in that fight this week as Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt signed SB 331 ( [link removed] ) into law and Arizona Sen. Nancy Barto’s SB 1165 ( [link removed] ) was signed into law.
On top of that, CPAC’s call for lower taxes in Mississippi ( [link removed] ) was heard as Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves pushed the state one step closer to eliminating the income tax by signing the largest tax cut in Mississippi history ( [link removed] ) , HB 531, into law.
