Our first end-of-quarter fundraiser is finally on the books, and, team, I am impressed. I always know I can count on our grassroots supporters coming through, and, once again, you did not disappoint.
We had hundreds of new folks make their first-ever donation, and thousands more double down to flip CA-27 from red to blue. That's because you know as well as I do how much hinges on this election.
You know that hitting our fundraising goals isn't about the numbers, it's about people. People who depend on insulin to survive and are sick and tired of pharmaceutical industry price-gouging their life-saving medication.
Service workers who can't afford basic health insurance. It's about families juggling jobs and outrageous childcare costs. It's about the young people who are worried about whether or not they will have a habitable planet to live on.
It's about all of us.
