One of the fundamental problems with Congress is that far too many
lawmakers are there to pad their bank accounts and do the bidding of
America’s largest corporations. Justice Democrats is trying to change

We’re working to elect more progressives who will join the Squad in
Congress to transform a Democratic establishment that continues its
support for elected officials like Manchin. If we have representatives
personally profiting from the destruction of our planet, we don’t have a
government for the people.

Here’s just one snippet from the article: “As the pivotal vote in an
evenly split Senate, Mr. Manchin has blocked legislation that would speed
the country’s transition to wind, solar and other clean energy and away
from coal, oil and gas, the burning of which is dangerously heating the
planet.”

Manchin’s situation is a clear conflict of interest and it’s preventing us
from dealing with an existential threat to the planet. But it’s not just
Joe Manchin blocking critical legislation to address the climate crisis,
it’s a slew of other corporate Democrats funded by the fossil fuel
industry and Wall Street giants that make money from Big Oil.

action to address the climate crisis. And we’re electing more progressives
