Friend,

Last week, the House Democratic majority was successful in delivering on their promise to lower prescription drug prices by passing a bill that would cap insulin costs to $35/month for those with insurance.

Sadly, only twelve Republicans joined Democrats in supporting this bill, and Republican Rep. Yvette Herrell was not one of them.

That’s right: Herrell voted against lowering insulin costs by hundreds and even thousands of dollars a year for millions of people.

It’s just another in a long list of examples of Herrell voting against the best interests of the people she was elected to represent in Washington.

When we defeat Herrell at the ballot box this November, I promise you that I’ll fight to lower prescription drug costs in Congress. For too long, New Mexicans and Americans across the country have had to spend too much money on the medications they need to get by.

If you’re ready for a representative who will actually vote to put more money in your pocket by lowering prescription drug prices, pitch in $10 or whatever you can to support our campaign and help me replace Herrell this year.
