Our team just returned from New York where they represented you at the UN Headquarters.

Every year the United Nations hosts the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), where the sole purpose is to discuss, debate, and solve issues that concern  women worldwide. 

But in 2022, the CSW has once again abandoned its interest in the well-being of women to embrace the insanity of far-left bureaucrats. Instead of focusing on real solutions to women issues worldwide, the CSW is flocked by feminists whose sole purpose is to push for radical leftitsts agenda. This year was even worse, their agenda continues to spiral out of control, into madness. 

In a shocking and disgraceful display, the CSW outlined their support for abortion, gender ideology, and the LGBTQ+ agenda. Unbelievably, they even suggested that these were solutions to Climate Change. 

CitizenGO immediately launched a petition, demanding respect for the right to life from conception to natural death, and ensuring that pro-life organizations are not discriminated against in during the two week long UN negotiations. Let me share with you some good news and the work we did, bringing your voice to the UN. 

With your help, we helped to shape the debate! 

In the agreed conclusions report negotiated by all Member States, we forced delegates to abandon disturbing language used to promote the gender ideology and the LGBTQ+ agenda which had been sneaked in the draft document.  

This is a step in the right direction to preserve the identity and protection of women.

In additional good news, delegates heard from you and the 200,000 CitizenGOers who signed the petition, and because of our persistence, delegates were forced to abandon all plans to support the evil Comprehensive Sexuality Education.

On March 21st, in the backdrop of the commission’s negotiations, CitizenGO shared our Pro-Life declaration and our demands that the CSW erase from the agreed conclusions all paragraphs that support abortion, gender ideology, and the LGBT agenda, and violate the first and most fundamental human right: life.

Following this protest, on March 22nd, CitizenGO directed an awe-inspiring convoy of vans throughout the entire City of New York.

The fundamental belief that equality for man-kind begins in the womb, was vibrantly displayed on each van, as they drove through the city, openly proclaiming the Pro-Life message to the millions who live there. 

One of the most amazing things was the outpouring of support from the people in New York, who aren't known for their welcoming or friendly attitude. In an emotional and heartwarming scene, countless citizens flocked to the vans to take pictures and voice their support, for the most innocent among us in the womb. 

This local intervention was followed by a planned and effective signature delivery to the representatives of different countries like Hungary and Colombia, and the staff of Sima Sami Bahous, UN Women's Executive Director, and Antonio Guterres, Secretary-General of the UN.

While all of this was taking place, CitizenGO organized thousand of posters to be placed around the city, which rebuked the CSW66 insanity, and proclaimed proudly the Pro-Life view, from CitizenGO and the millions worldwide who make our work possible. 

On the closing day, we made sure that delegates heard your message. CitizenGO team demonstrated in front and around the United Nations with more than 200,000 signatures and your message: Equality begins in the womb! 

Through your continued support, we are proud to keep fighting with a sense of determination and urgency against the forces of evil and leftism, who want to erase the sanctity and value of human life and replace it with political, and social insanity.
