Hi John,

Every month I like to take the time to thank my supporters, thank you, for your time, support, and generosity.

I know Melissa shared with you this month the importance of meeting our fundraising goals, but for me it has never been about just hitting a number.

It's about the 36 million families who are waiting for the extended Child Tax Credit so they can support their children. It's about honoring my friend Congressman John Lewis, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and the thousands of other civil rights activists who marched from Selma to Montgomery 57 years ago this past month by passing meaningful voting rights legislation. And it's about supporting my community, right here at home in Washington, and bringing resources for community projects like child care facilities, career development and youth engagement programs, and telehealth services for our rural residents.

We may be closing out Women's History Month, but the fight for equity is never limited to one month alone.

I am committed to standing with you to achieve all that I know is possible.
