Hi John, Gather ‘round children, for the wrap up of our Week of Action, aka the Garbage Fyre Festival, against Operation Save America in Milwaukee. Would you believe that OSA called our side the “Kingdom of Darkness”?! Have they seen our technicolor posters, t-shirts and swag? The very nerve of some people. It’s probably because we really got under their skin. We brought the best guest clinic escorts to help the regular team at the independent clinic (and the clinic got a bonus barrier from the cops to keep the antis at bay). We relentlessly countered their lies and hate on the streets of Milwaukee. We convened a press conference in Madison calling them out on their deceitful bullshit and political maneuvering, and then we totally derailed their “Ecclesiastical Court” at the state capitol building. OSA cancelled at least two of their planned actions because of us. Too bad, so sad. | |

We also had two amazing Abortion AF: The Tour comedy shows and a hot burlesque show, because Wisconsin totally wanted to party with the crew who told OSA to go fuck themselves. At our show in Milwaukee we showcased the amazing clinic escorts who deal with sidewalk harassers on the regular… not just during anti-abortion Spirit Week. In Madison, we talked to WI Rep. Lisa Subeck and Natalee Hartwig, Associate Director of Clinical Services at Planned Parenthood WI about threats to abortion access and how to fight back. | |
