But friends, here’s the bad news: We’re a few days past our first end-of-quarter deadline, and we’re still coming up a bit short on our first-quarter goal.

Congressional Democrats face an uphill battle as Republicans manipulate the redistricting process and implement harsh voter suppression measures to give them the advantage on Election Day.

So we’ve done the analysis, and we know where we need to be to have the financial resources to protect Democrats in tricky purple and red districts — but we’re not quite there yet.
