Friend – My name is Kimberly Woo (she/her/hers), and I served as one of the ACLU Lobby Captains for the 2021 ACLU California Action Conference! Last year, I got to advocate alongside my team to pass the CRISES Act. Meeting with my local lawmaker allowed me to advocate for community-based responses to emergency situations. Along with passionate activists across the state, we shared personal stories that showed the power of grassroots advocacy and how much our voices matter. Please join us at this year's conference and let your voice be heard! The registration deadline is next Monday, April 11 – register today and make sure to invite a friend!
