NatWest Day of Action, this Friday 8th April - Divest from nuclear weapons!

Did you know that £32 billion has been invested by major UK banks and pension funds into firms making nuclear weapons?

Many of these institutions are holding their Annual General Meetings (AGM) soon and CND, alongside other organisations, are looking to hold these companies to account over their nuclear portfolios.

This Friday, 8th April, will see our first action ([link removed]) take place against NatWest. We are asking customers to hand in a letter to their local branch, urging them to divest from companies involved in creating these weapons of mass destruction.

You can also take part in our online Twitterstorm, making sure to include the bank’s handle - @NatWest_Help - and using the hashtags #nuclearban and #ChangeNatWest.

Don’t bank with NatWest? We want to hear from those of you who bank with Barclays and HSBC, or if you have your pension with Royal London or People’s Pension.

You can help by submitting a question to an AGM or tweet them about divesting ([link removed]) from nuclear weapons. For more information email [email protected].
