MICHIGAN COALITION FOR RESPONSIBLE GUN OWNERS "Promoting safe use and ownership of firearms through education, litigation, and legislation." MONDAY E'NEWS Membership Dues Increase Beginning this month, MCRGO dues will see a price increase for the first time in over 15 years. The dues adjustment is necessary to cover the increased cost of printing and mailing in recent years. Affected membership categories will see a price increase of $5. For example, the regular annual membership will increase from $30 to $35. A two year membership will increase from $55 to $60. Etc. The increase will not apply to memberships renewed online through the MCRGO.org website. Online memberships will soon receive an automatic emailed membership confirmation rather than a printed letter in the mail. The increase will also not apply to life memberships or in-person event rate memberships. MCRGO encourages members who are currently renewing by check or money order to consider online transactions instead. Online renewals are easy, instant, and secure. They provide cost savings to the organization which in turn are passed on to our members. Online transactions also do not require the cost of a stamp. March CPL Report Update Two weeks ago, MCRGO reported in the E'News that the Michigan State Police had failed to provide a monthly CPL report for the first time in over six years. Following that report, MSP published its March report on March 18, 2022. It can be found HERE. Once the April report is released, we will share it in this E'News. Historically, these reports have been released the first week of the month.
